About The Authors

Management Advisory Systems, Corp.

"Management Advisory Systems, Corp. is an impartial provider of technology based consulting services. Our firm provides seasoned expert assistance in all phases of technology planning, systems design, vendor selection, development, deployment and ongoing assessment.

We have been involved with the successful selection and implementation of profitable technology solutions for more than twenty years with projects ranging from enterprise "n" tier solutions to mainframe and mid-range systems environments to Web based e-business solutions.

Our focus is on the utilization of technology to support and enhance business profitability, customer interactions and operational efficiencies.

Our firm never has sold software, hardware or other technology products. We are a truly independent consulting resource with no ties to vendors or "hidden agendas" that would compromise recommendations resulting from our project involvement.

In order to remain competitive, businesses need to match available technology with their information needs and long-term growth strategies.

If your business grows faster than your systems, you could miss out on essential management information. If your customer interactions are suffering from the lack of a web presence, you could lose those customers. And if your system is obsolete, it could provide you with misleading information and put you at a serious competitive disadvantage.

We provide a full range of services that cover the complete lifecycle of enterprise systems projects. From the initial planning stages through post implementation review. We have assisted clients in each stage of the systems process."

Company Profile

"Management Advisory Systems specializes in "n" tier enterprise application solutions. Our mission is to offer the finest independent professional consulting services in the areas of research, selection, implementation, and ongoing support of information technology systems. We do not have financial relationships with any vendors; we are a totally objective, unbiased source of review and consultation in all areas. Using a combination of strong analytical tools, high quality professional staff, cost-effective technology and seasoned business judgment, we assist our clients in determining optimal solutions."

Vice President

Trinh Abrell joined MAS in 2004 as Vice President. Her challenge was to expand the MAS presence in the North American marketplace. In conjunction with the MAS growth effort, she has also expanded the Sarbanes-Oxley practice to help clients design and implement internal control solutions. Through this practice, MAS is one of the leading companies to provide solutions in the areas of SAS 70 and SOX compliance. Also, under Ms. Abrell’s direction, the MAS HRMS consulting division has grown to provide strategic planning and detailed guidance for self-service HR web applications. Recently MAS has specialized in streamlining such web based HR functions as recruiting and open benefits enrollment.

Prior to joining MAS, Ms. Abrell held a variety of management positions. Most recently she was an IT Manager with Retriever Payment Systems of Houston, Texas. Among other accomplishments, she was responsible for designing and implementing a Portal-based Web site for a user base of 300+ field sales reps and over 80,000 customers. The site provides a management tool for field sales, links to a customer service application and a corporate communication vehicle. Ms. Abrell was also employed by Enron where she managed a web development group and a CRM group to complete two full life cycle Siebel CRM implementations. Trinh is a Siebel Certified Consultant, as well as a member of the Project Management Institute.
