Phone Activity Monitor (PAM)
Setting Up Predictive Threshold Alerts and Graphs
- After PAM has been invoked, click one if the 3 selectable threshold buttons.
A threshold dialog box for the selected threshold will be displayed.
- The threshold dialog box is used to define Sound and Graphic information that will be displayed to the monitor user when certain threshold values are reached.
Currently Idle Agents - When the number of Idle Agents is equal to the number entered here a threshold alarm is activated.
Play Sound (Once Only) - These check boxes are used to specify if a sound should play when the threshold is activated and whether to play the sound once or over and over until the threshold is inactive. Selecting Play Sound will invoke the default wave file selection dialog box where the user can select from a list of predefined internal sounds or search for the desired wave file on the current system.
No Graph, Linear Graph and Angular Gauge
Selecting No Graph will turn off the graph display for this threshold. A selection of Linear Graph will
invoke a linear graph for this threshold and allow it to be positioned on the desktop. Selecting the Angular Graph option will invoke a "Speedometer" like display graph.
Large - This selection indicated to display a large Linear or Angular graph rather than a smaller version of the same graph.
Large Number Display - This flag indicates to display a large number display for this threshold.
Click Ok to establish the defined threshold values.
Selecting Cancel will abort this setup process.
The Reset Alarm flag is used to turn off an alarm that is set to display more than one time and cause it to start over again.
